PMK Expands ENVI® Probe Family with PUHT Model, 500 MHz Bandwidth, and Full Accessory Line
PMK America proudly announces the expansion of the ENVI® environmental probe series with the launch of the ENVI® PUHT model and the upgrade of the original PHT to 500 MHz bandwidth. Both probes are designed for reliable, passive signal acquisition under the most demanding temperature conditions.
Built for Extreme Testing
The ENVI® probes are the world’s first modern passive probes for such extreme ranges:
-
PUHT: −55 °C to +200 °C
-
PHT: −55 °C to +155 °C
With 500 MHz bandwidth, 400 V / 1250 V peak input range, and 4.5 MΩ impedance, ENVI® probes combine precision with durability, enabling engineers to measure confidently in climate chambers and during thermal cycling.
Key features include:
-
Universal BNC connector with automatic read-out (RO) for oscilloscope scaling
-
Replaceable spring or rigid tips for maximum flexibility
-
Calibration at production (optional calibration certificate available)

Extreme-Temperature Hands-Free Positioning Solutions
Those items are selected members of PMK's popular 3D-positioner and Skid® product families and have one distinguishing feature in common – their capability of withstanding extreme temperatures.

Extreme temperatures warrant extreme safety measures. One of the key challenges in extreme-temperature measurements is making sure your test rig not only survives the climate chamber deployment, but remains steadfast, arrested in place and orientation--without collapsing over your DUT mid-experiment.
To achieve this, PMK provides Extreme-Temperature Hands-Free Positioning Solutions, all rated for −55 °C to +155 °C:
-
130 mm tripod (893-200-13V)
-
200 mm tripod (893-200-20V)
-
Universal probe holder (893-090-000)
-
SKID-M frame (893-500-010)

The tripods are built from V2A steel and feature a specially designed, extreme-temperature resistant tightening system for reliable positioning. Using M6 screws, they mount securely onto the Skid platform, allowing you to configure and lock your setup exactly as needed. Once assembled, the complete rig can be placed inside the climate chamber and operated hands-free, without concern for stability. After testing, the rig can be removed in the same configuration, maintaining its orientation and tightness.
Applications Across Industries
ENVI® probes are trusted for:
-
Automotive – testing ECUs, inverters, sensors, and BMS under extreme cycles.
-
Power Electronics – signal acquisition on modules, gate drivers, and converters during stress tests.
-
Research & Education – material studies, sensor development, and high-speed digital analysis.
-
Aerospace, Railway & Energy – precision measurement in critical environments where reliability is paramount.
